Bamboo Grove Retreat :- History of the
Hotel
Originally named Gyatseling, which in
Bhutia language means “House of Bamboo” , the hotel was
the residence of an aristocratic lady and a prominent
social figure of Sikkim, late Chum Dorji Wangmo
Barfongpa.
The hotel has been aesthetically designed to blend
with the environment and reflects the rich Sikkimese
culture. The boutique hotel is just two floors and an
attic.
Management Team
The management
of the hotel is undertaken by Firefox Stay who bring
their professional experience in five star properties
and genuine warm hospitality. Firefox Stay also operate
an Eco Resort at Rumtek, 20 Km from Gangtok.
